For 17 years, I immersed myself in the world of project management, leading diverse teams and tackling the dynamic challenges of a fast-paced environment. Every day brought something new, but amidst the hustle, a persistent feeling kept nudging me – the sense that something more meaningful was calling out to me.
This journey took a pivotal turn when I was introduced to coaching during a leadership program. It was an eye-opener! Suddenly, I felt a burst of excitement and a deep curiosity about coaching. I began exploring this fascinating world, talking to seasoned professionals, and the more I learned, the more it resonated with my core values. The desire to empower and support people in their professional growth was overwhelming – it was time to address that inner calling!
So, I embarked on my coaching journey, juggling accreditation studies with my project management role. It was a whirlwind of learning and passion, and I couldn’t contain my enthusiasm for this newfound path. Before I knew it, coaching had become my full-time profession.
But let’s be honest – it wasn’t all smooth sailing. The road to pursuing your dreams is never without its hurdles. There were moments of self-doubt and questions about leaving a well-established career. What if I failed? What if coaching wasn’t my forte? These doubts were quelled when I started working with a coach, who guided me through the uncertainties and helped build my confidence and resilience.
Finding My True Purpose in Leadership & Career Coaching
Over the past 14 years, I’ve partnered with leaders across various industries as an Executive and Leadership Coach. This dual perspective as a coach and leader has given me deep insights into the challenges leaders and organisations face today.
I firmly believe in empowering leaders to be the best versions of themselves. Success, to me, is rooted in self-awareness and understanding others, and coaching can profoundly unlock this potential. I aim to help leaders present themselves authentically, fostering trust and resilience to create empowered, high-performing teams.
My approach is all about facilitating growth through reflective conversations. It’s about helping leaders glean learning from their experiences, fostering a positive mindset and healthy habits that drive success. Through leadership & career coaching, I work alongside leaders to simplify their challenges and ensure their personal and professional well-being.
